SCHOLASTICS

The school follows the CBSE curriculum and strives to provide students with opportunities to achieve excellence in learning. The curriculum targets cognitive, affective and psychomotor development by: enhancing self-awareness and exploring innate potential; enabling mastery of prescribed competencies; and cultivating 21st‑century learning, literacy, and life skills.

Kindergarten (Pre‑primary)
Kindergarten subjects include Literacy, Numeracy, EVS, General Knowledge, Hindi, Kannada, and Art & Craft. Concepts are delivered through a play‑way method that makes learning joyful. Literacy skills are developed through phonics. Kindergarteners enjoy storytelling, rhymes, exercises, games, music, and art & craft throughout the term. They are also encouraged to participate in a variety of competitions to discover and nurture their talents.

Classes I–V (Primary)
Classes I to V offer core subjects: English, Hindi, Kannada, EVS and Mathematics. Each subject is taught in a student‑friendly environment using activity‑based methods to achieve the learning outcomes prescribed by CBSE. Students receive ample opportunities to develop foundational skills in three languages and mathematics. The academic year is divided into two terms: Term I (June–October) and Term II (November–March).

Classes VI–VIII (Middle)
Classes VI to VIII include English, Hindi, Kannada, Social Science, Science and Mathematics. Teaching continues to be activity‑oriented and focused on building conceptual understanding and skill development.

Classes IX–X (Secondary) Classes IX and X have the following core subjects: English, Hindi/Kannada, Science, Mathematics and Social Science. CBSE provides alternatives in certain cases:
- Students who face difficulty with the second language (Hindi) may opt for Painting as an alternative with valid reasons and appropriate approvals.
- CBSE also permits the option of Mathematics (Basic) for students who find Mathematics (Standard) challenging.
The school offers Information Technology as a skill (sixth) subject to provide practical exposure and skill development.
