Age Requirements & Admission Timeline (2026–27)

• ◆ LKG (Lower Kindergarten): Minimum age of 4 years
• ◆ UKG (Upper Kindergarten): Minimum age of 5 years
• ◆ Class I: Minimum age of 6 years

(All ages as on 1st June of the academic year.)

Note

For the academic year 2026–27, as per Government of Karnataka guidelines, a 60-day relaxation in the minimum age for Class I
admission is applicable. Accordingly, children who are 5 years and 10 months old as on 1st June 2026 are also eligible for admission to Class I.

This relaxation is applicable to all schools (State, CBSE, ICSE, and other boards). Any further changes or updates will be followed as per official Government notifications.

ಪ್ರವೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ವಯೋಮಿತಿ (2026–27)

• ◆ ಎಲ್‌ಕೆಜಿ (LKG): ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ವಯಸ್ಸು 4 ವರ್ಷ
• ◆ ಯುಕೆಜಿ (UKG): ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ವಯಸ್ಸು 5 ವರ್ಷ
• ◆ ಪ್ರಥಮ ತರಗತಿ (Class I): ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ವಯಸ್ಸು 6 ವರ್ಷ

(ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಯಸ್ಸುಗಳು ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ವರ್ಷದ ಜೂನ್ 1ರ ತನಕ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಂಡಿರಬೇಕು.)

ಮುಖ್ಯ ಸೂಚನೆ (ಪೋಷಕರಿಗಾಗಿ)

◆ ಪ್ರಥಮ ತರಗತಿಗೆ 60 ದಿನಗಳ ವಯೋಮಿತಿ ಸಡಿಲಿಕೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಜೂನ್ 1, 2026ರ ವೇಳೆಗೆ 5 ವರ್ಷ 10 ತಿಂಗಳು ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಪ್ರಥಮ ತರಗತಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಹರಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ.

◆ ಇದು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಿಗೆ (State, CBSE, ICSE ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ಮಂಡಳಿಗಳು) ಅನ್ವಯಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
ಮುಂದಿನ ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ನೀಡುವ ಸೂಚನೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಿಯಮಗಳು ಬದಲಾಗಬಹುದು.
